Fees
$120 / session
We believe everyone deserves support through the hard seasons — regardless of income. Our rate of $120 per session (about an hour) applies whether you're coming in individually, as a couple, or as a family. We also offer sliding-scale sessions and scholarships for clients facing financial challenges. No lengthy application, no awkward questions. Just let us know.
Payment — credit, debit, or HSA/FSA — is due at the time of service. We ask for 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Before we begin working together, you'll receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of care, as required by the No Surprises Act.
FAQs

Individuals, couples, and families — and the hard seasons that bring them to us: grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety and depression, relationship and family struggles, and questions of identity, belonging, and displacement. Not sure we're the right fit? Reach out anyway — we'll help you figure it out.
-
Yes. Kids and teens carry hard seasons too — grief, big moves, family changes, growing up between cultures — and they deserve real support just as much as the grown-ups do. Depending on age, parents are part of the process; we'll talk through what that looks like on our first call.
-
You can't be too much for us — but some situations do need more than we provide, like psychiatric care, medication, or crisis services. If that's you, we'll say so honestly. We know amazing people, and we'll consult, refer, and walk with you until you're in the right hands — even when they're not ours. What matters is that you get the help you need. Reaching out is always the right first step.

If it's important to you, it's important to us. You don't need a crisis to deserve support — and honestly, waiting until everything falls apart is the hard way to do it. Let’s talk about it!
-
If faith is part of your story, we'll honor it. If it's complicated, or not part of your life at all, you're just as welcome. We meet you where you are — never where we think you should be.
-
Your pick. Read our pages, see who feels right — or tell us what's going on during the free call and we'll help you decide. And since we know you're wondering: yes, we're married to each other, and no, your story is not dinner conversation. What you share with your therapist stays with your therapist. We don't discuss your sessions with each other — your trust belongs to the person you gave it to.

Sessions are about an hour, usually weekly to begin. From there, we'll find a rhythm that fits your life.

Sessions are online — held on a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform — and available to you as long as you're physically located in North Carolina at the time of your session, whether that's your home, your car, or wherever you have privacy and a reliable connection. We're based in Wake Forest and hope to open an in-person space down the road; for now, we come to you.
-
Yes! What you share is private and protected by law, with a few exceptions every therapist must honor, all about keeping people safe: serious risk of harm, abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, or a court order. If one ever applies, we'll do our best to talk with you first.
-
We'll talk about what brought you in and what you're hoping for. You set the pace; we'll follow. Everything else can wait.
-
We're currently private pay, but we're happy to provide documentation you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. Just ask — we're glad to walk you through it.
-
Tell us — please. We offer sliding-scale sessions and scholarships for clients facing financial challenges. No lengthy application, no awkward questions — just let us know. And if we're still not the right financial fit, we'll gladly point you toward lower-cost clinics and resources near you, because what matters most is that you find the right support.

Therapist credentials are genuinely confusing, so here's the short version. An MFT (Marriage & Family Therapist) is trained to see you in the context of your relationships — how the people and history around you shape what you're going through. An LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) leans more toward the individual. Both are wonderful; the difference is lens. We're MFTs, so we can meet with you one-on-one, as a couple, as a family — even across generations. And “modalities”? Those are simply the methods a therapist draws from; we use several rather than forcing you into one. In the end, what matters most isn't the letters or the method — it's the relationship.

Associates! We're Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associates — fully trained and licensed to provide therapy while we complete the supervised clinical hours toward full licensure, working closely with an experienced clinical supervisor. Happily, it also means a more accessible rate for you.

It happens, and it's okay. We'll do our best to help you find someone who is.
